7.0 Earthquake Devastates Haiti

Haiti has been hit by the first large earthquake in 240 years. The enormity of the effects of this devastating 7.0 quake are only barely understood at this time. Thousands have been killed and tens of thousands left homeless. This is a moment in which your solidarity is of critical importance. In an attempt to funnel needed aid to those most hit by the earthquake the North Adams Ambulance in partnership with Emergency Response Consulting, Samara Logic and the Haiti Relief Fund is calling out to the Emergency Services Community to provide emergency medical supplies that may be spared and delivered directly to the medical staff in Haiti.
This equipment and/or monetary donations will be sent from the North Adams Ambulance Service straight to a port in New York City and then directly to Haiti through the Haiti Relief Fund.

How You Can Help
Monetary donations are coming in from all
over, but there is a substantial demand for additional aid.
Medical supplies and equipment are greatly needed and the North Adams Ambulance Service is joining efforts with the Haiti Relief Fund to collect medical supplies across New England from emergency service organizations.
The collected supplies will allow the relief workers and medical staff in Haiti to care for people more quickly and more efficient.

- Medical supplies such as band aids, alcohol, peroxide, bandages, gauze pads etc.
- Water and non-perishable food items.
- Diapers, baby clothes, wipes and bottles.
- Cots and tents.
- Clean, gently used clothing & shoes.
